- JWJosh Wainwright3 days ago4.0Have been coming here semi regularly for 10 years and overall its always a great experience, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. dog friendly areas and when the suns out the terrace is lovely. Went for Sunday lunch and although the quality of the food is great, the portion sizes are tiny for the amount you pay. If it were a fine dining experience then fine but for what is known as being a nice country pub on the canal, leaving hungry is after paying nearly £20 per meal is somewhat frustrating. Wouldnt deter me from returning but would opt for another meal to feel satisfied.

- JJjasmine jonesOct 4, 20263.0Sunday roast was rather underwhelming. Meat was overcooked (dry and tough) which was sent back. The replacement was better but overall, the food was not really hot enough and portion sizes, for the cost, not great.
- PTPeter TraySep 27, 20261.0Went here for Sunday roast dinner ordered the triple meat dinners was served a chicken leg that was more like a sparrow a piece of pork that was about a inch long if that and slice of beef. The vegetables where burnt a three small roast potatoes the size of a 10p piece only good thing was the yorkshire pudding and that was frozen one so can't go wrong with that.
