Amazing service from all the staff tonight. Despite the restaurant being very busy, they still managed service with a smile especially when I informed them of my allergy. A special shoutout goes to Adam who was very careful with my food and attentive with the service my partner and I received. Thank you all for a lovely experience!
Wagamamas, as always was lovely, tasty food, Ive been making my way through their menu and so far every food ive tried has been fantastic, this time I had thier Gochujang Pork Ramen, +extra pork, so far the only issue ive had is that the bowl isnt big enough, if you like ramen, I highly recommend trying it here, and if youve never tried ramen, I highly recommend you try it from a place like Wagas for amazing flavour
Side note, get thier app if you enjoy the food here, its worth it for the free food rewards, you can use a blue light discount here too, but be aware, you can redeem a free food stamp or a discount... not both.

The atmosphere is great, but as expected, the busier it gets, the longer the wait for your food.
The staff are amazing and always give you a warm welcome.
The food is still good, but I do feel the portion sizes have become smaller. You can notice it from the amount of meat to the vegetables. In the past, one meal was enough to leave you feeling full, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
Overall, we still had a good experience, and it's a nice place to visit.
Fast, Fresh, and Consistently Delicious Noodles, but Peak-Hour Queues Can Be a Real Test of Endurance
Rating: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Located at Unit 56 on Kinsey Road (CH65 9JJ), right in the heart of the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks, wagamama is one of the most consistently popular places to grab a sit-down meal. Delivering its signature Japanese-inspired, soul-nourishing menu in a sleek, bustling environment, it offers a fantastic and healthy alternative to standard fast food. However, because of its popularity and prime location, getting a bench during peak shopping times requires a patient wait.On the positive side, the food quality and speed of service are exceptional:
The Food: From the iconic, creamy chicken katsu curry and rich, steaming bowls of ramen to fresh teppanyaki noodles, the food is consistently vibrant, packed with flavour, and cooked fresh.
Dietary Options: They feature one of the best vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menus of any major high-street chain, making it incredibly easy for everyone in a group to find something they love.
The Kitchen Speed: Once you are seated and your order is taken on the staff's handheld tablets, the kitchen operates like a well-oiled machine, often delivering steaming plates to your table in less than ten minutes.
The primary drawback is the wait time and the high-energy, communal atmosphere:
The Outdoor Queue: Because of its immense popularity, a substantial queue forms outside the restaurant on weekends, during school holidays, and throughout the Christmas shopping rush. Since there is limited shelter directly outside, queuing in the damp British weather can be a miserable start to your meal.
The "As-It's-Ready" Policy: Because food is rushed out to the table the second it leaves the wok, meals often arrive at staggered intervals. If you are dining as a family or group, one person might finish their main meal before another’s dish has even arrived, which doesn't suit everyone’s style of dining.
Noisy Communal Benches: The restaurant uses classic, long communal bench tables. While this maximizes space, it means you will likely be sitting elbow-to-elbow with strangers. Combined with the hard-surfaced, industrial interior, the noise levels can get incredibly loud, making intimate conversation quite difficult.
Ultimately, wagamama cheshire oaks designer outlet is a fantastic, highly reliable choice for a fresh and nourishing meal that will power you through the rest of your shopping trip. If you want to bypass the worst of the queues and enjoy a slightly calmer, more relaxed dining experience, try to aim for an early lunch around 11:30 AM or a later dinner after 7:30 PM.
