I am yet to eat here but I wanted to speak to somebody regarding the buy a gift vouchers and I spoke to the lovely Maya (assistant manager) Maya was extremely helpful and was able to put my mind at rest and I was able to book the table with confidence that I was not going to have any issues with the vouchers.
Thankyou Maya, you were a superstar and I can’t wait for our meal on Sunday.

Lovely welcome from the helpful, young male server. Starters good, then on to the main course. Dreadful pizzas, brought over by female this time. She brought over the food when we were still eating our starters, so took it back for a short while. When my husband started to use a pizza cutter there was a huge vɓlump in the middle of the pizza, which on further inspection was a 2nd pizza cutter, This was sandwiched between the pizza and the plate!! Didn't bode well. Annoyingly, whcen we told the waitress, she laughed, which we didn't feel was the appropriate response to a complaint. Not one we appreciated, let's say.
The pizza toppings were tasty, but the bases were disgraceful. Rock hard and burned underside. We should have sent both back, but stupidly we suffered in silence.

Atrocious service, slow, often had to prompt the staff. The manager needs to seriously improve his manners; he beckoned his hand when asking for the payment, which was very rude. Also, I asked about one of the dishes and even the chefs couldn't tell us the source or quality of one of the meats; there's very little knowledge of their own food.
Whilst there are some good dishes, food feels cold and tap water is warm and barely offered.
Unfortunately, it wasn't my choice but a gift card present, which felt very unsatisfying.

Food was nice, but service was extremely slow, I almost thought they had forgotten about us, and the restuarant was mostly empty, so it wasnt due to it being busy.
Tables around us weren't cleared of other customers left over food for the whole time we were there too, so atmosphere wasnt nice.
Basically, spend your time and money elsewhere, the food in the market next door is quicker and much nicer

We visited Zizzi Chester with our children and had a very disappointing experience.
One of the main reasons we chose Zizzi was because our children love the complimentary crispy pasta that is usually brought to the table before the meal. This time it was never brought, and nobody even mentioned it or explained why.
The restaurant was not busy at all, with only a couple of tables occupied, yet we still had to wait around 40–45 minutes for our food while our children were extremely hungry.
What upset us most was the attitude towards our children. When my child politely asked when the food would arrive, a member of staff replied sarcastically, “in a million hours.” We were shocked by such an unprofessional response.
Later, my younger son asked for a pencil, and instead of helping him, a staff member told him to go and sit down in a rude manner.
Throughout our visit there was almost no attention, care or communication from the staff. We felt completely ignored. Long waits can happen, but there is no excuse for treating children with such little patience and respect.
This was by far the worst experience we have had at Zizzi. We left feeling disappointed and unwelcome, and we will not be returning.
