Great pub and a cracking pint! I remember going here for a pint with my mums ex Paul later on in my life after meeting him again after many years. He was with my mum for around 9 years when I was younger and was a right character! I was nine when he met my mum and he was like a dad to me when my dad wasn’t around, I know he went to this pub now and again. I wish I could have a pint with you again Paul! RIP Paul Scarlett

The new landlady Claire has done an amazing job and has created such a warm, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. From the moment you walk through the door, you are made to feel at home Her hard work, and passion for the pub really shine through. It’s wonderful to see the place buzzing with such a great atmosphere. Wishing her every success in this exciting new venture we’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend a visit!

I was visiting the area and came across The Stanley Arms. What’s lovely pub I immediately felt comfortable … the staff were very friendly and I got served very quickly. I even met the landlady Claire who I immediately found very bubbly and all the locals were full of praise and happy with the refurbishment. Good luck to Claire, John, and their staff.. I will see you again
