We called in approx 8pm. After struggling for 10 minutes with the car park ticket machine my partner had to go inside and ask for help only to be told after 6pm it's free, there's no signage staying that. We finally got seated at approx 8.40 and were freezing cold and seated under spotlights. We were told the front door was broken and couldn't be closed. We asked to be moved as I have a spinal condition and the cold makes it more painful. Most diners are their meals wearing their coats. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We finally ordered food just after 9pm. When the food arrives it was quite tasteless and disappointing. My partner ordered the special surf and turf and the calamari was over cooked and was like rubber. I had a stuffed chicken breast which was tasteless. We have used other Beefeater restaurants before and were very disappointed with our experience here. We definitely won't be going back.
