  This cafe has just been refurbished. The new cafe is installed with automatic order screen. I am a disabled person, using Tesco a mobility scooter visited the cafe today. It was impossible! The aisle between tables is so narrow and impassable with a scooter. I had no choice but asked for help. I also needed help using the screen for ordering food and drinks. A kind customer helped me to do so. Obviously the cafe didn't include customers with disability in their planning. The food I ordered was chicken with sticky rice. It was disappointing - the rice not heated through, was HARD; the rest of the uncooked vegetables was served with no salad dressing, DRY and UNPALATABLE! The new cafe is definitely not users friendly to the disabled people. Moreover, the lack of staff present in the cafe, makes it difficult to call for help. Apparently they are understaffed and they are behind the kitchen door, out of sight , unavailable to the customers. Food is unsatisfactory and so is the layout of the cafe. The refurbishment brought nothing good but more inconvenience . I don't think that I would be coming again. Rosa

  There has been a change of staff. Used to enjoy bringing my toddler because the service was fast and the food was fine if you needed to grab something when you were out. Been really disappointed the last few times I’ve been- wait on service, quality of food coming out.. I’ve even had to go into the kitchen myself to bring our food out. I recently let a member of staff in the main supermarket know the concerns I had and that the lady working in the cafe needed help / an extra pair of hands and if she could let management know- she looked at me like she was unsure why I was telling her that (I explained customer service was too busy for me to wait to let them know) I have very little confidence my concerns were passed on.

  Lovely food! Definitely much better than I remember :) only thing I'd say is that air con was on and it's a cold February day 🥶

  £5 for 1 sausage and 2 bacon on a barm more bread than meat best off getting a breakfast for 75p more will not be returning

  The staff are brilliant the food is excellent whats not to love💖 Visited last week with my wife. Love the food always spot on great choice cooked so well. Lovely selection of drinks. The staff are absolutely marvelous have known them for a long time. A pleasure to visit. Highly Recommend 👍 Ignore the earlier critical reviews can only assume they are a little confused🙃
