- LLLApr 21, 20261.0Honestly I don’t know I keep trying McDonald’s because it is either, at best underwhelming, at worst just…not provided. I grabbed McDonald’s with my kids during the Easter hols on the way back from a day out. Got home, my entire order was missing. Frustrating but the kids were fed and there’s no way of rectifying it without driving there which, to be honest, I could not be bothered to do. Bonus is I racked up a load of points on the app - had a busy morning so thought I’d treat myself to a ‘free’ sausage and egg McMuffin, courtesy of the points. Order. Drive up. Park in the collect bay. Enter the bay number in the app. Wait 10 minutes. Nothing. Think ok well I’ll just go through the drive thru and grab it that way. I explain into the speaker - the member of staff informs me it’s on its way to the bay. I can literally see the bay in my wing mirror and this is…just not true. I say that. They tell me to go round the window. Ok. Well, I would but - there’s a queue of cars not moving at all. I wait another 8 minutes and then give up and drive off. Lesson learned. I wish I could say you get what you pay for but it’s either expensive or non existent so that doesn't really fly either.
