On my last visit, when I asked for the usual copy, the staff member was confused and, after checking with the manager via headset, told me this has “never been a thing”. When I explained that I’ve done this here consistently for two years (and that I work in retail using the same type of till), I was met with a dismissive “okay” that ended the conversation. I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong or like I’d imagined the last two years entirely. Not upset about the receipt. Upset about being treated with suspicion instead of basic customer service.

Speaking as someone who is used to dealing with these issues, it would be fairly simple to divert the water away from the door they just need to get some actual builders in instead of the staff bringing out the sandbags every heavy shower!
