  The service and atmosphere at Highlands is always welcoming. Staff are polite and friendly, the ponters are friendly. However, this while the food is normally good. For the first time we had the carvery, as I miss the Sunday Toby Carvery I use to have back up in Leeds. We tried the carvery for yhe first time at the Highwayman, and it was a bit of a disappointment. The turkey appeared to be reconstituted (processed meat). Didn't enjoy it at all.

  Never ever going here again…. It’s like 1 big messy playground, kids running about under no supervision causing havoc when you’re trying to eat in peace with your family!

  Great place for a lunchtime deal...same size meals as mains...half the price. Just watch the parking times...
