First experience of eating at a Tesco cafe. Ordering was straightforward once we worked out how to do it and liked the way you identified which table you were sat at. We visited on a Saturday morning around 10:20 and the cafe was 2/3rds full but staff on the floor, only two serving, clearing and cleaning tables, numerous empty tables not cleared or cleaned but that’s no fault of the staff on the floor, that’s down to management. On to the food, the only fault I had was that the black pudding was overcooked, other than that, it was a tasty full breakfast and nicely brewed tea. Would I visit again…….yes but not on a regular basis because we try a number of breakfast establishments around Cambridgeshire, we don’t have a regular’.

I went in today with my daughter for breakfast. The new look is dreadful. I ordered a sausage roll and a coffee. I asked for some mustard. The very embarrassed lady said they don’t serve mustard as it might upset people with allergies. You can’t even bring your own. I’ve heard it all now. Obviously, I won’t be back. Absolutely ridiculous. 😡

Do not use this cafe in the morning, staff are incapable, coffee lukewarm, bacon baps cold - if they arrive at all. Lunchtime and pm staff superb, young, proficient and professional with equally good food. Get a grip manager, although I doubt that extra training for the morning staff will suffice.
