  Do not order from here. Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely shambolic from start to finish. I was hosting an evening event, so the day before I placed an order for over £100 of pizzas - ample time to prepare you might think. I even booked a delivery window, allowing for them to be a bit late. The online 'order tracker' isn't worth bothering with. It notified me "Your pizzas have been delivered!" when there was no sign. I had to call them twice to chase up my order. The food was over 45 minutes late -- after which most of my guests had left, so I called them again and told them to cancel the order. They assured me the pizzas would come anyway, they were very sorry and to apologise the order would be free. More fool me, I accepted the order when it arrived -- and they duly charged me anyway. I complained to their HQ who said, as I had taken delivery of the order I had to pay -- despite the local branch saying they would not charge me. Their one saving grace is their prices are low (given the pizzas aren't great, so they should be) but the lack of organisation, woeful customer service, misleading delivery tracker and scam 'apologies' mean I will never again give my money to Papa Johns.

  I am very disappointed with the hygiene standards at this Papa Johns branch. The staff were not wearing appropriate kitchen hygiene gear, such as gloves or hairnets or masks, and I was concerned to see food being handled with bare hands. As a well-established and reputed company, I expected much better food safety and hygiene practices. It is particularly concerning for vegetarian customers, as meat and vegetarian ingredients appear to be handled without clear precautions to prevent cross-contamination. How can customers feel confident about the food they are eating if basic hygiene and food-handling practices are not followed? I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures proper hygiene standards are maintained to protect all customers. Very disappointing experience. I expected much better from Papa Johns.

  I ordered garlic breadsticks from Papa John’s through Deliveroo late at night, and the delivery was already significantly delayed. Unfortunately, things got even worse when I was about to eat them and discovered a dead mosquito inside the garlic bread. I was absolutely disgusted and had no choice but to throw the entire order away. After this experience, I will never order from Papa John’s again. Extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable.
