  Was served today by Tyler. An extremely friendly and positive young man. Made the time to get to know me as I am a regular visitor. It really did feel like a personal service. The food was excellent as always!

  Pros: service was fast and polite, they refunded my pork ramen without me asking which was much appreciated. They had the best intentions which was good to see. Cons: no napkins given to us, no forks in the cutlery section, no chopsticks either. My pork ramen lacked seasoning and so did my girlfriend’s chicken katsu udon dish. The Gyoza seemed to be made out of some sort pastry which texture was odd for a gyoza. We asked for a starter with two gyozas but told it would come out either before or after the main. My girlfriend’s main came out before mine and so I was waiting for a while watching her eat. When mine did come out the noodles were over cooked and tasted odd most likely because the noodles were over cooked.

  Had lunch there at the end of August. Really disappointed with the squid this time, We’ve always thought Wagamama did the best deep-fried squid around, and we’ve tried it in loads of places. It was usually the one thing we’d go back to Wagamama for and we were looking forward to it. But this time the texture was completely different. It was weirdly starchy and processed, almost like those artificial crab sticks, rather than actual squid. Honestly, it was horrible and we couldn’t finish it. Such a shame because the squid used to be genuinely excellent. I really hope this was just a bad batch and not a permanent change.
