Extremely disappointing experience. We went here tonight for my mum’s birthday, having been multiple times before and previously never had any issue. Unfortunately, this visit was by far the worst experience we’ve had, and we certainly wouldn’t go again even if we could so I’m glad it’s closing down by the end of this week. We waited around an hour for our food to arrive, which was already disappointing. On top of that, there was no cutlery on our table, despite there usually being some. When the food finally arrived, there were multiple problems. The children’s burger bun was completely stale and rock solid- when you knocked on it, it genuinely sounded like knocking on wood and I am so SO shocked it was even brung out. When the burger was bitten into, the meat had a sour taste, so it had to be spat out in a napkin and taken back to the bar. I requested a replacement, but was told another burger would take 15-20 minutes, so I opted out for the children’s margarita pizza instead. I was given a free portion of chips as a side, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the pizza was extremely disappointing too - it tasted and looked like a small shop bought pizza from somewhere like Morrisons, Asda or Aldi, rather than something freshly made in a restaurant. The children’s tortilla chips starter also came out at the same time as the main meal, which was strange and meant the starter was no longer really a starter. My dads Big Grill meal was also poor. The eggs were extremely greasy and overcooked, the peas were freezing cold, and the chicken had a slimy texture that made it very unpleasant to eat. My boyfriend’s Korean BBQ chicken burger wasn’t much better either. The outside of the burger was rock solid, and when it was cut into, it was so hard that a piece actually flew across the table. The only good thing about the food tonight was my brother’s Cowboy Burger & the two desserts which was a chocolate fudge cake and children’s brownie. We have been here multiple times before and have always enjoyed our food, so it’s especially disappointing to leave such a negative review. We understand that restaurants can have an off day, but when there are this many issues with the food, alongside an hour-long wait and the lack of basic cutlery, it completely ruined what was supposed to be a nice meal for my mum’s birthday. Over the moon it’s shutting down the restaurant as the food is more than POOR. BOTH ME AND MY BOYFRIEND WHO TOOK A BITE OF THE KIDS BURGER NOW BOTH FEEL SICK!

Food takes forever to come and when it does its just standard food nothing special. Whenever I come from the hotel its always find a table yourself and go up to the bar and order. By time I found a table and gone up to order 3 people have tried to take my table again. Can see why this company is going downhill

Went for breakfast, having made a booking. The staff were very attentive, the restaurant clean, tidy and organised. I went for the full breakfast (£10.99) There is plenty of choice. All buffet sections, bread, crumpets, pancakes, pastries were regularly topped up. The hot breakfast food was also nicely cooked and regularly topped up. Hard working staff clearing tables and making the place run effortlessly. I will certainly return. Note: you do need to make a booking, don't turn up as they will be unable to accommodate you. There are signs making this point.

I was served for breakfast buffet by Amy H. She was very insightful and brought out the food relatively quickly and was sure to let us know how long food would be when it wasn’t at the buffet. She was very smiley and gave a warm welcome when we came in.
