  Arrived 1 pm. Big car park but although we knew that Beefeater was closing down, we did not know that it does not open on a Monday. Do a wasted journey. Went on to Weatherspoons Emerson Green for a great lunch and service was excellent.

  I came for dinner. We were two and arrived at 8:45 PM and the host informed us that the kitchen was closing at 9:00 PM. We ordered immediately. The cook stormed out of the kitchen shouting, "Are you serious?" (because of the time) and the bartender sighed when we ordered two cocktails. The host came over at the end of the meal and apologised for his colleagues' behaviour. We also shared a platter for two. The portions of meat were small; as a side we had salad and potatoes edges AND half a tomato and one mushroom for two. Very disappointing experience!

  Delicious steak and halloumi kebabs. Desserts also looked great but we were too full, this time. Friendly, prompt service.
