We've enjoyed going to TGI for years but since the nearest restaurant to us closed it's become an annual outing as it's now quite a drive with our nearest venue closing. However we were disappointed today. Service was slow and they were out of a number of things: no beer on tap, no coleslaw. Fair enough with the extreme heat causing issues but we weren't told that there'd be no coleslaw when we ordered or offered an alternative. So we ended up just getting ribs and fries - it seems that this meal no longer comes with the corn on the cob that used to be included. It just seems very overpriced for what you are getting nowadays.

Had a great time! The waiting staff were very nice and accommodating to us having a birthday there. Came up and checked up on us every 5 mins or so. Food was quick as well.

TGI Fridays Bristol (Cribbs Causeway) – Very Disappointing Experience
I’ve been coming to TGI Fridays for many years and have enjoyed hundreds of meals over that time, which makes it even more disappointing to write this review.
On this visit, we ordered:
* A Jack Daniel’s Whiskey-Glazed Half Rack of Ribs
* Three Jack Daniel’s Chicken Strips starters
* A Jack Daniel’s Platter with chicken and half a rack of ribs
For drinks, a coke, lemonade and martini.
When the food arrived, the half rack of ribs appeared to be covered in standard BBQ sauce rather than the signature Jack Daniel’s whiskey glaze. The ribs on the platter were covered in a completely different sauce again – a yellow/orange hot sauce rather than the usual sweet brown whiskey glaze that TGI Fridays is known for.
Initially, we actually swapped food around on our plates because we assumed one dish must be the whiskey-glazed version and one wasn’t. However, after tasting them, it became obvious that the half rack was BBQ and the platter ribs were coated in a spicy hot sauce.
When I asked a member of staff about it, I was told that they don’t do the whiskey glaze on the half rack of ribs. This was confusing because the menu clearly states that the half rack is served with the signature whiskey glaze. My friend considered ordering a full rack of whiskey-glazed ribs, so that we could just discard the ribs with the other sauces on but I protested as the bill would be for food that was given wrongly and not our fault. Had we not questioned it, we would have paid extra for food that wasn’t what we ordered.
Unfortunately, the situation only got worse. The manager came over and argued that she had personally watched the food being cooked and insisted that it had been prepared with the signature whiskey glaze. Having eaten this dish many times over the years, I know exactly what the whiskey glaze tastes and looks like, and this simply wasn’t it. I asked her to taste them but she refused. I put the brown whisky sauce onto the ribs to show her that it was totally different colour to which she replied the sauce was brown because it was cold!!
By this point, I had completely lost confidence in what we were being served and asked for the uneaten food to be taken away. I never complain in restaurants and would much rather enjoy my meal than make a fuss, but the combination of incorrect food and the attitude we received left us feeling very uncomfortable.
To be fair, the Jack Daniel’s chicken strips were lovely and the Pornstar Martini was excellent. However, the Coke Zero and lemonade were later commented on as having a stale water taste.
Mistakes happen in any restaurant, and I would have happily accepted an apology and a replacement. What disappointed me most was the dismissive attitude and being told that what was clearly not the signature whiskey glaze somehow was.
After years of enjoying TGI Fridays, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had, and sadly I will not be returning to this particular tgi.

Was seated and basically ignored by the staff for 30 minutes, it wasn’t even busy, different staff saw me and continued to not take my order.
I asked to be placed in one area, the instead seated me elsewhere with a wobbly table.
Saw one of them playing on their phone.
Terrible service staff.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to amend an order after placing it as payment will have already been taken, and in order to limit the amount of orders to keep you and our teams safe. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact the restaurant you placed an order with, and they will process this. Please be aware that refunds take up to three to four working days.
How can I cancel my Click & Collect order?
Please note that orders can only be cancelled if your collection time is at least one hour in the future. If it is less than an hour until your collection time, please call the restaurant at which you placed the order. They will ask for your order number, and once your details have been confirmed our team will process your refund. The money will then be credited back to your account within three to four working days.
Do you have Vegan & Vegetarian dishes?
We offer a range of vegetarian and vegan options, which can be found on our menu pages. Please be assured that we take necessary steps to avoid cross contamination in our kitchens. However, it is not possible to guarantee that dishes are 100% free from inadvertent traces of non-vegan or non-vegetarian substances as we produce vegan dishes and meat dishes in the same kitchen.
