Pleasantly impressed with this store, there’s a great selection of stock and everything was pretty easy to find. The only downside was the batteries were a little low on stock. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I had a young Lad on the self scan today, didn’t catch his name, but he was very tall and cheerful. He complimented my Metallica band T-shirt and we had a quick chat about them. It’s the little things that go a long way! Had a really pleasant trip, would definitely recommend!

Every Saturday we get up early to go shopping on a Saturday between 6-6.30 , let be honest everyone hates food shopping but the highlight of our shopping is the 2 Karen’s on the self check out , every week they are acknowledge us ask about our week , they cross there fingers we don’t get a trolley check ( this is because we had one for every week for 25weeks from Christmas ) but they really both brighten up our morning and make us walk out with a smile . They are great for communication, rapport and just amazing people a real asset to your team . We look forward to seeing them next week , hopefully they will know about this review when I ask them , it’s an amazing feeling when they get acknowledged for the impact they make for that 10-15 min they might see us .

Big store - lots of stock - helpful staff BUT folks watch their promotions and prices versus the shelf prices! Often they do not match. Today Salmon fillets picked up and advertised for £3.75 goes through the till as £4.50 - I immediately ask for this to be returned - a stir pry promotion for £5.00. Pick up 4 items per the labeling for £5 - wait until it goes through the till - all the items are categorised very strangey so Noodles go through as veg - yet the labeling makes it clear that Noodles are a separate entity. The staff agree and confirm that this has been a big issue with this particular promotion. Bakery items marked down slightly due to sell by dates - unfortunately the staff failed to obscure the barcode so the original price goes through - OK when staff are summoned to sort it out - it gets done - but, I'm very careful with these self serve tills and watch the prices very carefully. The above examples are all in the same week! This is a pointer to the management of the store - why not take a walk around your store and this weeks challenge is to match the goods with the correct prices on the shelves! Pricing and Displays Act - remember the customers' rights? Tesco is a good supermarket but I think these large stores must be a nightmare to manage.
