She told my husband and I that there are loads of customers who have actually paid to sit down even though there wasn't any other customers there only me and my husband and few people who were already sat down at the other table behind us, I explained to the lady my husband had a back condition and just needed a few minutes sit and then we will be going and she wasn't impressed kept talking over me and being intimidating, I just lost a baby and suffering from my miscarriage symptoms last thing I need is a nasty woman having a pop for no reason, my husband told me she was staring at me from the time I left the till to the seats by doors and was watching me put my shopping in the bag! Didn't realise you have to pay for a seat for a few minutes

The lady working this morning 10/4/26 around 9 am shouldn’t be in a customer service job she was rude from the get go. The shop was empty there was no excuse for her attitude towards me I tried to be friendly but she just kept giving me comments that made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. As someone who is disabled I struggle standing so I went to sit to put the sugar in my coffee before walking and she started shouting over the shop that I needed to pay more for sitting down. No manners just straight rude when I started I was disabled and just needed to sit to put my sugar in she accused me of just sitting and not paying the eat in charge. I have always loved going to Greg’s because I’ve always found the servers to be accommodating and friendly. However this lady has compleltey changed my mind and I think you need to send your staff on some training ( I say this as someone who’s managed hospitality venues, please address this as it’s not ok)

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
