- JSJohn SaxtonJun 15, 20262.0“Really disappointed with McDonald’s Birdwell. My daughter went here after work to meet friends and was a genuine paying customer. She never received any parking notice at the time — nothing on the car, nothing through the door. Months later, completely out of the blue, she gets a £170 legal threat from UKPC/DCB Legal. She’s young, works hard, and this has caused her a lot of stress and upset. We went into the restaurant to ask for help, and the shift manager basically shrugged it off and said they ‘don’t cancel them anymore’, even when the customer has done absolutely nothing wrong. No support, no interest, no effort to help. It feels like the franchise is happy to let a private parking company target their own customers, then wash their hands of it when people ask for help. McDonald’s should not be allowing this to happen on their site. Just warning others: be very careful parking here — even if you’re a genuine customer, you might end up with a legal letter instead of a Happy Meal.”
