- SRSally RaynorMar 16, 20264.0I like Greggs but deduct a star because the young lady prepping the sandwiches was wearing no food hygiene gloves today at 1:15pm. I'm a bit funny about hygiene. I was sorry to see one of the well reported people who steal sandwiches at work stealing and when challenged they ran off with their stolen lunch. What Greggs have to put up with and Sussex Police simply don't care. It's why their is a shoplifting epidemic in Sussex.

Many delivery drivers were waiting for their orders and the whole experience was an absolute nightmare, avoid.

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
