So much nicer with the new layout. Felt a bit like a warehouse before. Much better now with wider aisles and more fridges. The staff are always friendly and although it’s pretty busy you don’t usually wait that long to pay.

So disappointed with the lack of customer service today at the Tesco in Hove. The gentleman at the entrance was incredibly grumpy, chewing gum and completely disinterested in welcoming anyone into the store. For any customer facing role there is a requirement to provide a minimum of good customer service sadly this employee was the first Tesco team member we met on our visit today and left us feeling it is not a shop we want to visit again.

The constant change due to the refit is going on for far too long. Also, why making the aisles so narrow that you cannot fit two shopping trolley through it at the same time. It's mayhem and absolutely ridiculous. Oh, and trying to get what you need seems to be more and more impossible.

The recent refit has been chaos, it has been going on for months. The outcome is worse than it was before, it's chaos and makes no sense. I have never particularly enjoyed shopping at Tesco, but this is the final nail in the coffin. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Terribly run Tesco yet there always seems to be 4/5 managers standing in the circle in the middle of an isle having a chin wag. The store layout doesn’t make sense, no in and out entry/ exit. Teenage staff who don’t know anything let alone basic manners. Bet the refit won’t make any sense either. Only ever 2 tils open, most of self service tils are shut too. It’s a living nightmare of a store. Not to mention their surrounding area covered in filth.
