Guys, your Zizzi isn't working. Don't get me wrong, the food was nice and your team were lovely - when we saw them - but the rate of service was appalling and lots of people in the restaurant were getting very frustrated which meant for a tense and embarrassing atmosphere. You don't have enough staff. You are trying to run this on a shoestring budget and it isn't working. We like your food but this is the second time we have been in a couple of months and the service has been poor. Both times we were greeted with apologies up front about long waits and many items missing off the menu. It seems to me like you are prioritising the delivery orders and the kitchen can't keep up. We'd like to be regular customers but we were left for long periods with no food and no attention from the staff (because they were understaffed and couldn't cope - even though the restaurant wasn't full). Not a great experience.

Theo served us for dinner at Zizzi Marlow. He was really lovely and so helpful. We can't praise him enough for being so down-to-earth and patient with us (party of 5, including two children). He supported us in navigating the menu and helped us with one of our party who has multiple allergies. They provided the allergy menu and he was extremely diligent in taking that part of the order, in particular. Great service and thank you for being a great human, Theo.

Amazing service from Theo!
We had such a lovely evening at Zizzi’s tonight, and Theo really made our experience special. He was friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout, and nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel really well looked after and added such a lovely atmosphere to our evening.
Thank you, Theo, for making our night even more enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back. 🌟
My wife and I visited Zizzi Marlow at the end of July while staying in Marlow, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience.
The restaurant was really busy when we arrived, but the team were incredibly welcoming and managed to fit us in, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely lovely, with generous portions, great flavours and, considering the quality, excellent value for money.
What really made our evening special, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. In particular, Istvan went above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect, and his fantastic service really stood out.
It’s not often you come away from a busy restaurant feeling that you’ve been genuinely looked after, but that was exactly how we felt here.
We’d definitely return to Zizzi Marlow next time we’re in the area. Great food, great value and, most importantly, a brilliant team. Highly recommended!
Arrived at 7.00 p.m. After nearly a hour wait my sister-in-law, who'd ordered Spag Bol, was told they'd "run out of spaghetti".
She was offered another type of pasta. Rigatoni, etc etc She agreed to anything. Only 2 dinners arrived. My brother's pizza arrived undercooked, doughy white wet base. My meat balls were ok but the pasta was stone cold. Eventually
sister-in-law's "bolognese" arrived, with spaghetti, they said, "we found some". From a bin I assume. There was a grey slime of sauce. We asked where the bolognese sauce was and they finally brought some more, in a dish the size of an ashtray, some bisto-like gravy with bits in it. Meanwhile other staff were furiously cooking pizzas and packing them for the queue of deliveroo drivers outside. She asked for cheese and a spoon, but the young waiter promptly went back to packing pizzas in takeaway bags. (In-house diners seem to be 2nd class here.)
The service was friendly but poor because there weren't enough staff. The food was beyond atrocious, embarassing that I took my family there.
The manager Theo agreed to refund our dinners. Zizzi should decide if they want to be a restaurant for diners, or a takeaway, and also, please hire some decent chefs.
