  Great location for the theatre nearby. We visited here when the rooms where first refurbished, many years ago, and I wonder if it’s under new management or they owners have taken a step back, as this visit was not a good one. Room was tired, kettle was disgusting with what looked like scale and mould. Iron didn’t work and there wasn’t another in the entire place when asked so had to go out with un ironed clothes. Staff were not great, and at times plain rude, and it felt we were being a nuisance by being a guest there. We declined the offer of breakfast and just left in the morning as soon as we could. Will not be going back or recommend, which is a real shame as me and my wife have good memories of the Broad Leys in the past.

  Shocking Attempt at Hospitality.. Rude abrupt staff..!! Table booked for my mother's birthday.. Only to be told on arrival, not everything was available, due to them RUNNING down stock due to a takeover..!!! When asked WHY was we not informed of this when booking.. reply.."its on our socials.....!!!"...yeah.. because you check them before attending a restaurant..!! I can see why the new owners are NOT keeping the current crew in place.. Felt like it was everyone's first day.

  Absolutely knackered after a long boiling hot walk went in to get a pint with a friend but they only wanted to have a pepsi. Bartender refused to serve us as she didnt have any ID on her and is underage. The reasoning behind it being that I could have been buying the alcoholic beverage for the her even after explaining to the women that it wasn't and coming up with plausible reasons for proving that the alcoholic drink was for me the women still refused to serve us.

  A lovely stop for lunch, pleasant visit, the food was wonderful and staff were brillant.
