I’ve been coming to this pub since I was a child and still visit regularly for the fantastic food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent selection of beers and drinks. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and make everyone feel at home.
I’ve also attended several functions here over the years, including wakes, birthday parties, and BBQs, all of which have been very well organised and enjoyable. The service is consistently great, and the pub has a warm, traditional charm that keeps me coming back. Highly recommended this pub! 🐿️

Hello. I recently took a visit to ‘The Squirrel’ while passing through the area.
I am quite disappointed in the establishment, I felt the worker I dealt with, a middle aged woman- to be rather passive aggressive.. the food was edible and it was quite loud with a fair bit of shouting. I see potential but i’m not sure I would visit again.

I have come here frequently since I was a kid and it has, and always will be, one of my favourite pubs in the area. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are helpful and always do their best to ensure customers needs are met. The managers are supportive of their staff and this is seen in how well the team works together especially when the pub gets busy.

This place seemed like a really nice traditional spot where I could enjoy a nice meal and pint with my partner, sadly during our visit some woman I assume some kind of manager or something started shouting and swearing at some young girls for seemingly no reason at all. It really killed the atmosphere and upset my partner so we left, it feels like young people are simply just not welcome.

Whole pub is relatively tired, can’t comment on food as didn’t eat but the draught selection was just as terrible as the ambience. Also went in to the toilet and found one member of staff scoffing a packet of nuts with empty wrappers all around him, he even went as far as to offer me some OUT OF THE PALM OF HIS HAND. AVOID
