  Came to this burger king today 20/06/26 ... it was not very busy and the staff was really helpful using the kiosk. Food was made quick didn't have to wait. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere pleasant

  Since Burger King was a staple of my teenage years, I decided to revisit my roots during a recent shopping trip to the Princess Alice Retail Park. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the experience at this particular branch was genuinely impressive. First off, the standards of cleanliness here are nothing short of remarkable—if I didn’t know any better, I’d say it was maintained with the precision of a hospital operating theatre. There was no leaning or downtime for the staff; they were constantly cleaning, which made for an incredibly pleasant dining environment. The service was equally spot on. I was greeted by staff who were not only attentive and polite but also very neatly presented, giving the whole operation a professional feel that you don’t always encounter in fast food settings. As for the food, I ordered the Vegan Royale accompanied by a large portion of fries. If you’re keeping an eye on the numbers, it’s a calorie-dense meal: The Vegan Royale: 564 calories (16.8g protein, 53.7g carbs, 29.9g fat). Large Fries: 337 calories (6.9g protein, 42g carbs, 16g fat). You’re looking at a total of roughly 900 calories before you even factor in your drink. It certainly provides a significant amount of energy for your money, making it a filling choice if you’re looking to power through the rest of your shopping. Overall, whether you’re a longtime fan looking for a bit of nostalgia or just need a reliable place to grab a bite while at the retail park, this branch offers a clean, professional, and efficient experience.

  Where do I even start? We initially ordered via Just Eat with a 35–55 minute delivery window. After an hour of waiting, and the app tracking the driver as "1 minute away," the order was suddenly cancelled with absolutely no explanation. ​With disappointed, hungry kids, I drove 10 minutes to the restaurant to order at the kiosk at 7:30 PM. After waiting another 20 minutes with zero communication or urgency from the staff, I had to ask for an update. They only then started bagging it up—meaning the food had likely been sitting there getting cold—and they still managed to get the order wrong. ​The kitchen hygiene is appalling. Staff were handling burger patties with bare hands (massive cross-contamination risk), and there was zero management or direction. Employees were walking around aimlessly while the floor was littered with receipts and packaging, and the tables were filthy. To top it off, the food was dry and completely bland. ​Fast forward 12 hours: I am now suffering from painful stomach cramps and severe illness, which is entirely unsurprising given the lack of basic food safety here. This place either needs completely new management or needs to be shut down by environmental health.
