Kane was brilliant. Needed plasters not only did he point me to the right direction but he also got me first aid kit and sorted my blister

Used the self-checkout and discovered one of the items I’d just paid for was damaged. I asked the member of staff covering the self-checkouts if they could get a replacement. Instead of radioing a colleague or arranging it, they simply told me to go and fetch one myself. This was particularly frustrating as I still had a full trolley of items that needed scanning in a separate transaction. Having to take my bags and trolley back into the store, grab an undamaged replacement and then return to the self-checkout was inconvenient and felt like poor customer service. I understand self-checkout staff need to stay in the area but asking another colleague to bring the item over would have been a much better solution. Disappointing experience.

Every single heatwave the entire refrigeration system in this place completely packs up. I reckon the fridges / freezers in this place have been out of action more than not the past few months. They may as well not bother trying to be a supermarket anymore. With the increasing likelihood of extreme and extended periods of heat with climate change, Tesco are going to need to change and act fast to either improve their refrigeration system or rebuild the shop entirely so it can withstand temperatures above 30°C. It cannot go on like this, however I fear Tesco don't really care nor have the foresight to realise this is going to be an ever increasing problem for them. In short - just shop elsewhere.

Absolutely shocking. This has been going on for weeks and nothing seems to be getting fixed. Who is managing this store? Why has nothing been done? The escalator is broken. The lift is broken. The fridges and freezers are constantly out of service. Even the front entrance has been broken. When the weather gets warmer, the refrigeration seems to fail, leaving huge sections of the store empty. For a Tesco Superstore, this is completely unacceptable. Customers make the trip expecting to do a full shop, only to leave with half the items on their list because chilled and frozen products aren't available. This store has earned its poor reputation. Instead of maintaining basic facilities, customers are left dealing with the same problems week after week. Tesco should be embarrassed by the condition of this store and senior management needs to step in and sort it out.

I swear the fridges have been operational maybe 10 days total since the first May bank holiday. We’re about a week into July!! For a multi-billion pound company this is completely unacceptable. Invest in fridges which don’t shut down the second that the temperature hits 26 degrees and stop punishing those of us who can’t go to other supermarkets (for whatever reason). The staff and management at this particular location are very helpful and I do not fault them whatsoever for the abysmal planning on corporate’s part. But in case somebody’s reading this who has any ability to actually *do* something about this, BUY WORKING FRIDGES
