- CCCarlaSep 26, 20261.0I came here with my cousins and ordered a steak bake. It was absolutely awful — completely cold and tasted stale, like it had been sitting there for ages rather than being fresh. To make matters worse, the employees were arguing with each other right in front of customers. That is completely unacceptable and makes for a very unpleasant experience. This place used to always have a queue, but now it’s practically empty every time I come here. Now I understand why. My cousins couldn’t even eat their food. We had to throw it away and go to the Costa next door instead. It was a little more expensive, but at least the food was edible. Very disappointing. The food at Greggs has become completely inedible at this location, and I definitely won’t be coming back.

It use to be good, the last 3 weeks has been awful, few options they never have pizza, few times have chicken bake, and the ones the do have are freezing cold, steak bake and bacon and cheese wrap cold are awful, you cannot swallow that. The service wasn’t good neither. Definitely looking for a new place, not going back. Disappointed how this store is managed now, if manage at all.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
