If you are in Birmingham and looking for a quick bite, you absolutely have to visit Greggs located inside the massive Primark on High Street. This isn’t your typical high street bakery; it is officially the world’s largest Greggs, and the "Tasty by Greggs" branding really sets it apart. The first thing that hits you is the incredible ambiance and decoration. The design is vibrant, modern, and fun—a far cry from the standard grab-and-go shops. I was particularly impressed by the plenty of space and seating available. Usually, finding a seat in a city center Greggs is a struggle, but this location is huge, featuring those iconic doughnut-style swings and plenty of comfortable booths that make you want to actually stay and relax rather than rush out. The attention to detail in the decor is top-notch. Right at the main entrance, they have parked a custom Greggs Tuk Tuk, which looks absolutely amazing and has quickly become a must-have photo spot for everyone walking in. It adds such a playful, unique touch to the whole "Tasty" concept. As for the food, I ordered my usual Greggs Vegan Sausage Roll, and I’m happy to report it has that same great taste and flaky texture I’ve come to love. Despite the massive scale of this operation, the quality remains consistent and the service is surprisingly fast given how busy it gets. Whether you are taking a break from shopping or just want to see the spectacle, this is easily a 5-star destination!

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
