I would give zero if I could. Unfortunately, there is no one you can report them to so a review will have to do. The owner’s wife is very rude. She is unhelpful and treats customers terribly. There is a £3 maximum spend if you want to pay with card, in this day and age where cards are used more than cash? Very outdated, just like their products which are expired and sold to customers. Scam of a shop. The other staff is very kind and lovely. It is just the owner and his wife. They lost a customer today, I’ll be going to another convenience shop from now. From the other reviews it seems they enjoy losing customers.

Owner and wife are rude but workers are brilliant, prices of items are expensive even when out of date.
Hasn't changed they even now sell out of date food for full price and the items are months out of date. So always check date and change if owners are on till. Staff are brilliant so helpful and friendly. They own the laundry next door which is bad also 😕 scam with dryers ppl always complaining. They have a hole in ceiling for 4+years now and still haven't fix it just a bucket when it rains so dangerous customer is going to get hurt. The closing times are wrong weekend are not 11pm
Im adding that staff are nice its the owners husband and wife who are the problem scamming ppl so will be reporting like other review said they buy food nearly out of date or close and still have high price and will replace items for bin back on shelves don't give proper receipt and charge for card used under £3 which I thought was stopped

There is a new shopkeeper/owner with serious attitude problems extorting customers (as Jan 2020). I used to go to this shop mainly to top-up my electric key but he wouldn't do this anymore unless I buy there something else too. It turned out that they have also blocked my electric key so I wouldn’t be able top it up somewhere else. I found out this when I wanted to top-it up in a different shop and the shopkeeper tolled me that it is blocked and she is not able to top it-up. Then she asked me where have I topped it up previously? I tolled her that I was using the Costcutter and then she tolled me straight away 'he is naughty becuese he is blocking the keys so people can't top it up elsewhere’. Then I went back to Cost- cutter to top it up again and told him to unlock the key. The guy was telling while he was doing the topping up that they don't do block anything but then when I left and I tried to top up the key in a different shop it was working. I guess he just secretly unlocked the key while he was doing the top-up because I figured what's going on and he didn’t want to be caught with this. Never go there again!
