  Visited this steakhouse on 2 consecutive nights as we stayed at the Premier inn. The food was lovely. Steaks were cooked to our liking. The first nights service was a bit slow. Drinks took a while to come. The waitress was preoccupied chatting to another worker and we had to approach her to be seated. She came across a bit miserable. Blank facial expressions, no smile, thank you's.... nothing. The second night, the service was much better. (different staff) Very happy, cheerful waiters/waitress. Drinks were served much quicker. Only downside, the table was dirty. Covered in salt and sticky on both nights. Other than that, the food was good. We had breakfast in the morning and that was very good!! Nice selection of continental and cooked food.

  Perfect gathering place for catching up with good friends. Chill, relaxed atmosphere, great food, lovely rustic laid back ambience. And Aaron at the bar is just a fantastic host - makes you feel at home from the get go. Thanks for a great welcome to Birmingham despite this being a flying visit. Will certainly be back next time I'm passing through...maybe I'll stop a little longer to say hi to Aaron!

  I hate to do this but I have to. This might be the worse steak experience I’ve ever had. Almost inedible. I tried to wolf it down but had to stop because it was so dry. I came on a slow Thursday evening. The place was almost empty. Service was meh. I knew not to expect an American style steak but was curious to try the “local beef”. I am guessing this is a franchise kinda like Chili’s so maybe that was where I went wrong. I ordered a sample plate of 3, 4oz steaks at £37. I had low expectations but when you order a medium rare and get shoe leather well done, it reinforces the feeling that you should have eaten somewhere else. I would give this spot and F. I will give credit for being allergy conscious but that’s about it.
