Great store, lots of variety. They have fresh produce, tinned goods, fresh and frozen meats. They carry magazines and local newspapers. They have lots of ready made sandwiches, salads and desserts. Great all service corner store.

Utter dump of a place. Id give it no stars if I could !! First of all I was wasn't allowed to collect my elderly fathers pension cos I had my daddy's dog in my arms 🤣 I wasn't shopping for food and I don't shop there I get better in Tesco's and much cheaper too, and the dog is cleaner than their store. So i get my father's pension as the post office in Ardoyne ave now easy less hassle the staff are a lot more friendly, dog friendly with no attitude. Secondly they have favourites whom they allow their dogs in store shopping where as I wasn't I was getting my elderly Father's pension. I never shop in the co-op I don't need to thank God 🙏and never have used the co-op due to the fact the staff are nasty even the staff at the post office are nasty on in particular small and round glasses she's nasty. I've also had issues with getting being short changed by £5 at times so I've stopped using it over a year ago. Same store that put the shutters done on my daddy's dog that was tied up outside. That's why she wasn't being left outside again !!
Today my elderly neighbour asked me to walk to the co-op with her to help her with her shopping as she's sick and needs surgery, of course being a good person I said yes I even offered to take her to Tesco's as it's much cheaper and cleaner and friendlier but she was happy to walk to the co-op. I entered the store with her to help her with her shopping to be told by the nasty beast of the devil staff member who abused me collecting my father's pension that I was barred 🤣 hilarious I said barred from a shop I boycott like the plague 🤣 make that make sense. I went and got my neighbour and told her that the nasty staff member had barred me from a shop I don't shop in and boycott and that the nasty beast of the devil staff member would walk her home with her shopping seeing as he cared so much. He didn't and my neighbour had to carry her own shopping home. Not very Christian of them !! That's not serving the community. The beast of the devil even admitted " yes is cos you were collecting your daddy's pension and I the manager have a bad attitude" I agreed with the beast he doe have a bad attitude all cos I was collecting my father's pension
The carry on in this store is shocking considering i was in it last week with my friend being served ( I wasn't buying anything as I said I don't shop in this store due to the fact I boycott it cos of it's nasty staff the uncleanliness of it) so their attitude is based on how the nasty staff members are feeling on a certain day cos they never barred me last week 🤣 can't be barred from a shop you boycott like the plague 🤣🤣
Also like to point out this same store accused a wee boy of stealing dog food that this store doesn't even sell 🤣 he had bought the dog food at the shop at the top of the Westland road, he then walked to the co-op for sweets and got accused of theft of dog food. They even took the kids dog food that he bought elsewhere off him, the child went home crying to his mother who was very upset over it. She took the co-op to court and won £5K and rightly so. This is the reason why so many have stopped shopping there the staff are nasty and abusive. The people of Oldpark deserve better at least a clean store friendly staff who don't change rules daily, can give out the correct change and not short change people ! I go out of my way to avoid it like the plague it is for her a year now !! The uncleanliness the nasty staff who are of NO HELP TO THE PUBLIC ! Shame on you co op that Oldpark road store needs an overhaul of staff and the cleanliness inside and outside, not to mention what you did to that poor kid it was the talk of the place for a long time accusing a wee child of theft of dog food that the CO OP DIDN'T EVEN SELL !!
