  No options for vegetarians or vegans. Spicy veggie removed and only god knows what McDonald's strategy is. Subway is much better for vegetarians.

  McDonald’s Forbury is honestly one of the worst places for delivery riders, especially Deliveroo. There’s one manager (don’t know her name) who usually works mornings, sometimes wearing a white uniform and sometimes blue. She has a habit of marking orders as “ready” on the screen even when the food is still being prepared in the kitchen. What’s the point of marking it ready if it’s not actually ready? Then riders arrive and end up standing there another 10–15 minutes while staff keep serving walk-in customers and act like delivery riders are invisible. On most occasions when we call this manager or ask about an order, she just ignores everyone standing there. Our time is also valuable. We don’t get paid hourly sitting around waiting for fake “ready” orders. If the order is not ready, don’t mark it ready. Simple. Before, drivers could remove the order themselves if the wait was too long, but with the new Deliveroo update we now have to contact rider support just to get the order removed, which wastes even more time. And even when the order is actually ready, staff sometimes cannot even be bothered checking the shelf properly or handing the order over. Riders are left waiting while the order is literally sitting there. I honestly think this branch is heavily understaffed, which is probably why this happens almost every single day, but that still doesn’t excuse wasting riders’ time and ignoring people trying to do their job.

  I mean it's a Mackie's what do you really expect? It's near a college so it gets pretty packed during lunch hours. The food is reasonable. It's no worse or no better than any other McDonald's it's never wowed me the service. However, during rush hour is a lot to be desired. It can take up to 30 minutes to receive your order. So do keep this in mind if you attend between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 and because of that and during the times I've been in this establishment as mostly during these times the atmosphere is quite stuffy and normally filled with people getting quite frustrated, which is definitely a point of contention, but I don't initially think that's down to McDonald's as a whole, although there definitely feels like they could be better planning and management of the crowds

  Mimosa creates such a warm and welcoming environment every morning when I come in for my breakfast, great service with a smile !!!
