  Good store very helpful & most products are good price .But I think this card loyalty is terrible just inflating prices to make more money should be like Aldi & lidl good prices all the time

  Not very helpful staff, the younger staff are great, the older one's mostly just want to chat amongst themselves, not all but quite a few. Shepton Mallet five stars.

  Why is there now only 2 self service tills that take cash??? Last time I came in there were 4! Absolutely abysmal service. Whoever decided this needs sacking. What's wrong with cash? Maybe I'll just walk out with my shopping when I'm waiting forever to use one!

  Had a delivery booked, didn’t arrive in time slot given. Phoned up to be told it was cancelled. Why do we need to phone up to find this out? Shouldn’t it be the other way around. I understand life happens but a little bit of care for the customer to let them know seems common courtesy to me

  1 star – extremely poor online delivery experience and even worse complaint handling. I have used Tesco home delivery for well over 10 years and am a disabled customer and carer who relies on the service. My order was marked as having 0 unavailable items and 0 substitutions, yet almost my entire frozen order was missing when it arrived. The only frozen item delivered was a 46p bag of Yorkshire puddings. The missing frozen food was worth over £36. The driver was excellent and absolutely not at fault. He was helpful, equally frustrated and went back to the store himself to try to locate the missing tray. The store later said they could not find the missing items and could not redeliver them. I had specifically booked the shopping for that day because I needed the food that day. Tesco simply refunded the missing items despite me explaining that this did not solve the immediate problem, as the refund could take several working days. Customer Care then told me that if I still wanted the food I would need to place another order. I therefore had to use Tesco Whoosh to replace the missing items that same day. The original missing items cost £36.29. The replacement Whoosh order cost £50.79 because the item prices were higher and there was also a £2.99 delivery charge, despite me already paying £7.99 per month for Delivery Saver. Tesco later refunded the £2.99 Whoosh delivery charge but refused to reimburse the remaining £11.51 additional cost caused purely by having to replace food they failed to deliver. They offered a £15 goodwill voucher and, after I escalated the complaint to Tesco’s Executive Office, they maintained that £15 was “more than reasonable”, refused the remaining £11.51 and closed the complaint. This was also after a separate Delivery Saver payment-system problem that same morning resulted in my plan being shown as suspended and my grocery order being charged a £7 delivery fee, which I then had to contact Tesco to have refunded. I spent effectively the entire day dealing with multiple Tesco failures just to obtain shopping I had already ordered and paid for. For a long-standing disabled customer and carer who relies on home delivery, I find the whole experience and the final response from Tesco extremely disappointing. Complaint reference: #1056800.
