I have never in my life experienced such bad, appalling and rude customer service. Always so understaffed in there, but even when it isn't crazy busy they're still really slack and slow. A few weeks ago I go in there for a monster, literally one age restricted item, the same time the age confirmation thing comes through a deliveroo driver comes in so the girl working in there goes to deal with him first.. which is fair enough as it's easier to get that over and done, by this point I'd been waiting 1 minute by self checkout, she's right next to the self checkout probably aware I need my age confirmed (bare in mind she's Id'd me before) but instead a man goes to the till with a few items, by this point I got inpatient as is this is the 2nd person she dealt with before getting to me, 3 minutes in I got my card out just so she'd take the hint by this point a 3rd man comes with a basket full of food and it had been like 4/5 minutes so I say 'excuse me can someone please confirm my age I've been waiting here 4 minutes' she apologised under her breathe, which is fair but could tell she wasn't happy for being pulled up for it even though she dealt with a deliveroo driver and 2 people before me and tapped the age confirmation from the screen which was what she should have done whilst serving the first person. Then another experience happens yesterday, I go in there with my little girl to buy her some ice creams and treats and when I take myself to self checkout I pay for a bag and when I looked there's none, there's no staff at till or self checkout so I wander around the shop until I found 2 female staff members stacking shelves and chatting (which is unprofessional considering one should be doing shelves the other should be dealing with till and self checkout) I say excuse me can I please have a bag as there's none out there, no apology nothing like that she just walks to the till and says it's because people keep stealing to which I responded 'sorry' when really she should have apologised. I know it's not the biggest thing in the world but staff shouldn't be rude about it when pulled up for a wrong doing, we're not allowed bags at the self checkout anymore yet I noticed one they were using as a bin that they probably did pay for.. the first girl apologised but gave a funny look the 2nd one didn't even apologise at all .

Update You may find later in the day you cant get in to the carpark from shaftesbury road as there is regurly a load of the hire scooters by the public toilet but have a couple times seen the scooters spread out blocking the entrence to carpark stopping you getting in altho you can drive round to the other entrence to carpark it is a inconvenience that they just get left litrily anywear Original Nice looking building the store is probably the bigest co op around big range of products the front entrence has steps and a wheel chair lift the rear entrences are step free there is parking out back tho small carpark so limited spaces especialy juring buisy hours and most near by streets are permit parking check signs if street park most the permit streets are only untill 6pm

Pretty good range of products. Prices tend to be on the higher side even compared to some other convenience stores. Used to have problems with stuff incorrectly priced but they have recently added digital ticketing which is much better
