A really enjoyable visit to Zizzi at The O2 Belfast. The restaurant has a lovely warm and modern feel, with a cosy atmosphere that works well for families or a relaxed meal before or after an event. We had pizza, cheesy garlic bread, pasta and risotto, and everything was tasty, well presented and full of flavour. The pizza base was nicely cooked with plenty of cheese and toppings, the garlic bread was rich and comforting, and the pasta and risotto were creamy, satisfying and good portions. There was plenty of choice on the menu, the service was swift, and the overall experience felt good value. Definitely worthy of five stars and somewhere I would happily return to when we visit again from Australia.

First time visit as a large party celebrating a birthday and couldn’t recommend it more! Among our party we had 2 children under 6, 2 milk soya and egg allergies, a vegan and an individual who is going through eating disorder recovery and every single person able to get exceptional food that was delicious and adjusted to exactly how they needed it. Absolutely nothing made to be a problem, so accommodating and patient and we are so so impressed by the quality and attentiveness of the staff. Such a lovely experience, staff couldn’t do enough for you and food so reasonably priced - especially with the offers they do on the app. Rosie was our server and what a credit to the hospitality world she is. Excellence - well done Zizzi, we will definitely be back!

We visited this Zizzi tonight (04/07/2026) at about 19:15 Hrs. The restaurant had only a few customers, not busy at all. We were seated near the entrance door by a member of staff wearing a suit (the manager?), who provided us with menus. Before I looked at the menu I needed to use the bathroom, so I passed on my drinks order to my wife and went to the bathroom, which is located right at the back of the restaurant. I walked the full length of the restaurant and noted that I appeared to be following a trail of squashed chips and other food. When I reached the bathroom it was festooned with torn toilet paper all over the floor and lots of liquid on the floor too. On the way back to the table I noted sooo much more food strewn all over the floor, it was everywhere. There were a number of uncleared, dirty tables around the restaurant too. The ‘manager’ and at least three other staff were stood around, in the centre of the restaurant, all busy talking to each other. There had clearly been no attempt to clean anywhere for hours, if not all day. As I made my return to our table, I assessed the state of the bathrooms, and the state of the front of house floor and tables, AND the attitude of the staff (complacent & negligent) towards the conditions in the restaurant. This, of course, then led me to think about what the condition of the kitchen, and the associated hygiene standards, would likely be. I got to the table, told my wife what I had witnessed, cancelled our drinks order, left the restaurant. As far as I’m concerned, we dodged a bullet! Cannot recommend this filthy place to anyone, best avoided!

The food was fair, we weren't informed we could use the main menu and just given a lunchtime / fixed menu, which we ordered from thinking this was all they offered at lunchtime, never been to Zizi before, the service could have been better as I was going to use my blue light card, but informed I couldn't use it as it was on the fixed menu, so not a brilliant experience really as this should have been brought to my attention at the beginning in my opinion.

I went for my birthday celebration yesterday with my friends and I was particularly disappointed by the restaurant manager - Norby. I made a booking for 7.30 but we were getting delayed and I called up at 6.30 to push our booking to 8PM. But on the call he appeared to be very strict and told me that there are two more groups of 15 and 20 ppl @8pm and the kitchen will get busy. He then tells me that if we come after 8 then he will not allow us in. I convinced him that we will be there by 8pm and we rchd by 8.03 pm. Somehow I started feeling a bit unpleasant about the situation but since there was a child with us and I did not have any other booking I went with it. Me any my friends rchd der and when I told him I have a booking, he was constantly checked his watch in front of us to show that we are late. And he was very arrogant about it. When we were seated as well I asked him if there is any reduction in the menu and he again said that "I have asked the chef to wait" and kept saying that we came late. The restaurant hrs mentions 10pm so not sure why did he have to do any special convincing to hold the chef. It was much later when he calmed down and stopped giving us any attitude. Funny enough those groups of 15 and 20 did not turn up. We were the ones who made d bookings and were der but he was only arrogant to us. I told all of this to the other server and she was very kind to understand and apologized on his behalf. But this kind of behavior is not done from a manager of a chain of restaurants. I felt very disappointed on my birthday due to such discriminating behavior.
