Great superstore, only downside is the Costa express machine occasionally spurts out a vertical spray of steam onto your hand

Thank you to a very kind young man at the montrose tesco. He was out in the car park collecting trolleys at lunchtime today. I was struggling to push my trolley to my car today. He came over and offered to help me. He pushed it all the way to my car. He was polite and friendly. Thankyou so much.

Went to tesco montrose today do do a small shop (£70+) after which my wife suggested we put shopping in the car and return to have a coffee and something to eat. So in we go to queue up for service which I admit was quite busy mainly with school children obviously getting their lunch. As we all like to do. When we eventually get to the front of the queue to place our order not much, 2 Americanos 1 southern fried chicken and cheese wrap, and 1 tuna cheese and spring onion toastie. At which point we were informed by the cafe assistant on the checkout that it would be quite a while before we would be served our food and drinks. Why ? I asked It's because we have all the children to serve first. ( Sorry I thought the queue would be served in order, as you arrived at order and checkout point, must be my mistake) If Tesco Restaurant Montrose do not wish to serve other patrons while school children are ordering and being served, maybe you could put a sign up to inform other patrons that if this situation occurs then you become a second class citizen in the eyes of Tesco plc. Obviously cannot give zero star so 1 will have to do And please be aware this review is purely on the restaurant and not the grocery store. Needless to say I will certainly not be having a coffee anytime soon at Tesco Montrose Would love to hear if any other Tesco Montrose patrons have had a similar experience.
