- BBBrandonC4 days ago1.0Absolutely ridiculous experience tonight at McDonald’s. Sat trapped in the drive-through queue for around 15 minutes after placing and paying for my order, only to finally reach the window and be told they had no meat left. How do you run out of the main thing your restaurant sells and still continue taking drive-through orders without warning customers beforehand? If you knew there was no beef available, people should have been told at the ordering point instead of wasting their time sitting in a queue they can’t leave. The staff member I spoke to was polite enough, but the overall organisation was terrible. Poor communication, wasted time, and a genuinely frustrating experience.

The staff themselves were lovely, polite, and clearly trying their best but the way the female manager was treating them was shocking. She was loudly shouting at them, speaking in a really degrading, disrespectful way, like they were beneath her. You could actually see how miserable it was making them. It completely ruined the atmosphere and made the whole place feel tense and unpleasant. There’s absolutely no excuse for talking to staff like that, especially in front of customers. It came across as unprofessional and borderline bullying. It’s a real shame because the team deserve better, they’re the only reason this experience wasn’t a complete write off. Management seriously needs to take a hard look at how their staff are being treated, because that behaviour is unacceptable.
