  Needed to find somewhere open for breakfast at this side of town, pleasantly suprised tbh. Service was very good and quick, food tasted fresh, and very reasonable pricing. Atmosphere isnt great but I dont know how you can improve on this due to the setting. Went to a bespoke little coffee shop in town yesterday where everything was at a premium and it failed on every aspect, Tesco cafe however has blown it out the water.

  Myself and my husband went today for breakfast. First time since the refurbishment and it wasn’t great. I ordered poached eggs on toast with bacon. It took 15 minutes to come and was stone cold. I took it back up and waited another 10 minutes for the new breakfast to come. One of the poached eggs wasn’t even cooked. It was still translucent and slimy. I just left it. This is not good enough and as I take biological medication i would not attempt to eat this.

  Everything was not hot, it's painful how people are scratching their heads, very very slow coming to help, with elderly customers, very disappointing experience, we dined in.

  I was not looking forward to the new self service set up. Lovely Cristina helped us navigate the last bit, the table number and pay. Found the menus on the left hand side of the board then luckily I noticed the scroll slide on the right side of the board (maybe if it was coloured or scroll here so it was more noticeable it could help others) otherwise could have been there forever. Saw at least 6 customers walk away after looking at the board for around 5 mins.

  Been here for many breakfasts whilst doing a big shop, always been previously pleasantly impressed. Today however the food was both not good and not at all like how advertised on the kiosks. I don't know if this was a one of bad luck on my behalf or as a result of the cafe having been renovated / redone but the food was really poor sadly. Must say the staff were superb however and a total credit to Tesco Would think twice about using what has always been a great cafe in the future.
