  Very disappointing last visit. Long waiting time for average food. Poor service. Food was tasteless and overpriced.

  We've stayed/eaten here many times over the last 15 yrs and food was always good. This time, food was really not nice! My fish was soggy with about 7 chips, husbands burger was very dry, coleslaw looked as though it had been in fridge for a month. Restaurant also felt quite dirty, needs a big freshen up! Staff were all lovely/attebtive though!

  You're advised to book a table as it "gets busy" It doesn't, they just dont employ enough staff, Saturday night, 8pm and they have one of left to cover majority of the bar and take food orders (who can't tell the difference between a pizza and a chicken tikka) whilst the manager stands looking at an empty seating area. Avoid the wings, they were so bare i wasnt entirely sure of id gotten my order or a witch had been casting spells with bones in the kitchen, thank god I didn't order Hunters Chicken, id never have found it. Obviously I cant speak to the entire menu, but what I seen on other plates looked decent
