The driver had already left the two pizzas on the dirty ground at the door and was quickly walking to his car, he did not hand me the pizzas. I did not ask for a contactless delivery, hand off is customary, I had given a tip and my bill was close to $40. The temperature is currently in the 30’s and it’s been raining most of the day. I called the Hwy 92 location to let someone know what happened, I spoke to a John that answered the phone at the Hwy 92 location. I politely explained what had happened and that I didn’t like the food being left on the dirty, wet, cold ground, his response was, “where else should he have left them?” I said every other time the driver waits at the door with the pizzas, He then said, “the driver won’t wait more than a minute at the door”. Again I expressed that I immediately went to the door, which I had already explained. He didn’t apologize, or seem to understand or care about why I would rather the food not be left on the wet, cold, disgusting ground by the front door. I wanted to make a manager aware that this had happened and that I would rather my food not be left on the ground in the future, but again the person that I spoke to did not care or even recognize why this was a problem for me. I then let him know that in the future I’ll be ordering from a different location. I have been ordering pizza for years for delivery, nothing like this has ever happened before. The customer service at this location is just awful.
