She then acted irritated simply because I spoke with an accent. After that, the second employee — the one at the register — looked at me as if I were stupid when I asked for extra jalapeños while she was adding vegetables. When I then asked for lettuce, she suddenly claimed she “couldn’t understand me.” I even pointed directly at the lettuce, and she still insisted, “Say it in English! Say it in English!” Overall, the behavior of the staff was absolutely disgraceful and completely unacceptable.
