Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers praised the burgers and fries, but there were multiple complaints about cold food, incorrect orders, and poor food preparation.
Service Issues
Many reviews highlighted slow service, disorganization, and rude staff, with some customers experiencing long wait times and incorrect orders.
Customer Service
While some staff members received commendations for their friendliness and helpfulness, there were numerous reports of unprofessional behavior and lack of urgency from others.
Cleanliness
The restaurant's cleanliness received mixed reviews, with some customers noting clean facilities while others reported dirty conditions.

I gave 1 star because the service was not up to par nor was the food. After they made my sandwich the 3rd time I gave up! I will give kudos to cordell because he stepped up and asked to make the order right for me. He is the only one that was younger that wasn't playing in the kitchen. Also the floors were wet and there wasn't any wet floor signs out anywhere.

Eveytime I go to Whataburger they always have a good attitude and they're fast with getting meals out especially around lunch time! I did an online order and the lady at the register was helping customers figure out what they wanted cause they've never gone and her customer service skills were amazing! While she was talking with them I sat and waited for my food and the manager checked up on me to make sure I was helped and I told her I was just waiting for my order. She went and called my name and had my bag in hand within a few seconds! All around great customer skills with today's shift!

Aaliyah was our cashier and she is AWESOME. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and treated with kindness. I was a little shocked that the were so nice in there . That just shows that she has a heart for servitude! Aaliyah keep up the great work.

We ordered delivery today for my son’s birthday, our food got here missing drinks and something else. But Tylan jumped on it, even though he didn’t have to bring the remaining things to me, he did! And with a smile at that! Tell him thank you again.
