Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Worst service! They took a wrong order in that drive thru, and we kept waiting for the order( which was wrong) then I ordered again and had to wait 24 minutes altogether and there reasons are they don’t have enough staff. The employees are not at all kind and don’t know how to talk to there customers. Disaster

    I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. I waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru just trying to get breakfast, which ended up making me late for work. That kind of delay is unacceptable, especially during morning hours when people are on tight schedules. What made it worse was the lack of urgency and awareness from the staff. After that long wait, I was handed my order with a casual “have a good day,” as if everything was fine. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, nothing. The start of my day was already thrown off because of this, and a simple apology could have gone a long way. Customer service isn’t just about handing out food — it’s about respecting people’s time. I really hope this location improves its efficiency and communication, because this experience was frustrating and disappointing.

    This may be some of the slowest service in the area. Food is always good, but when you are 1 of 2 customers in the building, and the drive thru is empty, you shouldn't have to wait over 20 minutes to get your food. It doesn't make sense. The team needs to be re-trained. It feels like they don't know what they are doing.

    This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! No customer service at all & terrible service. Deserves no stars. I was excited to try this place considering I’m from NY & have heard about it. Myself, my husband & 3 children ordered 3 kids meals w/cookies, a # 3 & I ordered a #1 with cheese, pickles on the side & no mustard. First thing they did was bring us our food 25 mins after we ordered. I didn’t trip. But then they give us the food & kids meals were missing 2 cookies, & my sandwich was made with mustard & missing the cheese. I politely go to the register to tell them my order was wrong & what to fix & the lady goes to the back to tell them the burger was made wrong & what needed to be fixed. I can hear the whole conversation. The guy says “I need to see the receipt first”. Okay no problem. I give them the receipt which clearly states my correct order. The lady says it’ll be right out. Eventually brings the kids cookies. 15 mins go buy, still no burger. Then finally it comes, STILL WRONG. This time it has cheese but still mustard. I have a slight mustard allergy so I was genuinely not trying to cause an issue but I was very adamant about not wanting mustard. So I bring it back up. The lady tells them in the back that it’s still wrong. Whatever guy was back there now has an attitude I guess so I hear him in the back complaining. I go sit back down & wait another 25 mins. The lady comes to my table to verify how I want it made. Another 15 mins go buy. Still no burger. My husband gets up to complain now & ask for a refund. 5 mins late they bring me a COLD burger that looks thrown together & still missing stuff off it. I could tell whoever made it clearly had an attitude. On top of that there was no customer service AT ALL. No apology. No update. No warm communication. They got my order wrong & treated me like I messed something up. Waited nearly an hour for a nasty burger & the ONLY reason why I was there that long is because my kids were still eating. Otherwise I would’ve requested a refund & left 10 mins in. Absolutely unacceptable!

    Not great for breakfast. Been here twice now. Both times service was slow and they couldn't provide the meal I paid for. First experience: after waiting for about 10 minutes (I was one of two cars) they gave me the wrong breakfast. I had to turn around and come back. They gave away my breakfast, so they had to remake it, which took another 10 minutes. 2nd experience: This morning I was the only customer. They were out of biscuits at 7am, so they offered that I wait 6 minutes or just go with a burger bun for my sausage biscuit. I chose bun, as I didn't have time to wait. 8 minutes later they gave me my meal, with a bun. Again, I was the only customer, so I don't know why everything took so long.
