Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Waited 30 minutes for them to give our order to someone else, then when they finally bring the food out it’s incorrect and burnt. None of the extras they charged us for is on the burgers or brought out with food. Requested a refund as the food was not edible (burnt). Definitely don’t waste your time or money with this awful company. Also the floor is nasty and slippery, smells very musty inside.

    After giving my order, I heard the employee groan like she was annoyed. I don't think she knew she was still on the microphone. I noticed they were short staffed and it took longer than expected to get my order because of this. However, the customer service could have been better. I was disappointed in the employee and customer interactions at this location.

    The stars I gave all belong to Kenny, the only young man working the register up front. He ran around trying to take care of everything & every one, kept smiling and his attitude was so pleasant. He’s the only reason we didn’t request a refund and leave. The wait for our food was ridiculous, and my over-priced burger, though huge, was slapped together and sloppy. The fries were not hot, after all the time it took we expected them piping. For the location to be relatively new I was surprised at the condition. Kenny offered me an apple pie for my inconvenience as he apologized repeatedly. Unfortunately even he can’t get us to go back.

    It took way to long go get our food. The staff were either not trained or didn't care. Other people were complaining that they were in the drive through for ove 30 minutes, then had to come in because the order was incorrect or scattered in their bag. And my Burger was extremely dry and over cooked. Definitely overpriced! It was the first and probably last time eating at Whataburger.

    This was my first time in a Whataburger. I should not have done this in New Year's Eve, but my son and I were running late from him visiting family while on military leave. We went into the restaurant instead of the drive-thru (it was a bit backed up). No one was at the front counter. We went to the kiosk and my son stated he only had cash. We waited for someone to come up to the front counter. A female came and he told her he only had cash and wanted to make an order. She then told him to use the kiosk. He asked can you pay cash at the kiosk, and she walked away stating that he had to place his order at the kiosk. We verified at this kiosk IT DOES NOT TAKE CASH! A white female with glasses walked out and asked if we needed help. He explained to her the circumstance. She took his order, went back to the kitchen came out with the order, and then cashed us out at the register up front. I'm not sure what the issue truly is. Is this more of a concern of profit over man hours!? This first experience wasn't well. I can say that the food was truly fresh, but I'm not sure why the fries were still limp! Whoever the white female with glasses was that helped us, THANK YOU! I'm not sure I want to return here again. When Krystal's was open, they seemed better than this! Please, do better with the customer experience and do better with knowing you're demographic of customers!
