- LHLeon HJan 25, 20254.0so, this is not meant to be a rag on this place. i'm glad it's here and it's not as insane as the other DD on Fair Rd where it sometimes blocks off the right lane because of the poor drive thru design. i got my favorite sandwich here, a bacon egg cheese croissant and it was kind of mediocre here. the croissant is supposed to be kind of crispy and flaky, but it was kind of soggy here. the bacon was too hard and the eggs seemed a little underdone. that said, it was piping hot and that's good and it's edible. go to the DD in Waynesboro by the gas pro and you can get what quality it ought to be. the coffee was good and i see no reason to go to sbux when i get a larger sized coffee for less money and no tip drama or stupid words. and i can get a coffee at 8:45 pm and don't have to get an eyeroll or burden somewhere to have to "make a fresh pot" for me. i recommend the brown sugar syrup, it's addictive.
