Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers praised the friendly and attentive service, particularly highlighting staff members like Shawn and Brandon for their exceptional service.
Food Quality
While several reviews mentioned delicious and flavorful food, there were also complaints about incorrect orders and food quality being inconsistent.
Cleanliness

Order Accuracy
A significant number of reviews pointed out issues with order accuracy, including missing items and incorrect orders, particularly with online and drive-thru orders.
Speed of Service
There were mixed reviews regarding the speed of service, with some customers experiencing long wait times, especially during busy hours.

Absolutely a fun lunch. Jaden took our ordered. He was as attentive as a worker in an upscale restaurant! I was shocked. The other employees were doing great interacting with the customers.
I see good things ahead for Whataburger at this location and Jaden will be very successfully in his life because he put effort into his duties.
We'll be back.

The burger is like a slightly better version of BK. Nothing special, I dont understand the hype especially for the price. Do yourself a favor, go next door to Miller's and get a classic burger for 10.99 that beats the pants off of Whatever-Burger.
