This used to be my favorite Dunkin location. Despite the fact that, for years, they have had very limited donut options after noon, the customer service used to be so great that I visited anyway. Then, the people who made the experience great, either left or started working less. The people who took over did not measure up to those who left. Suddenly, in addition to the limited donut selection, my cold brew consistently tasted burned or stale, as if they had not made a new batch for the day. So, I started avoiding this location and going to a different one. I haven’t been to this location in months. But today, the location I’ve been going to was closed for renovations, so I ventured to give this one a try. When my mom and I walked in, we stood off to the side because she wanted to look at the menu. The worker came to the register and asked what she could give us. I said we were still looking. I got the impression that she was annoyed by the fact that we weren’t ready to order when she was ready to take our order. It was very clear we weren’t ready because we were nowhere near the register. But I told myself not to assume she was annoyed, especially since annoyance over us not being ready to order didn’t make sense. But then my suspicions were strengthened when we were ready and she ignored us while filling other orders. She filled at least two other drive through orders before, while still in the process of completing another order, she asked if we were ready and then said she’d be with us soon. She never came to take our order. She sent someone else who worked there to take our order. Then, at 8pm, 2 hours before they are supposed to close, she interrupts us and asks us to throw away all our trash because they are going to start cleaning up. We oblige. Then, 30 minutes later, interrupts us again and asks us to get up and move all of our things to another table so she can clean. I had a laptop, water bottle, coffee, donut, backpack, purse, etc. I had to stop what I was working on and move everything to another table. Then at 8:55pm, an hour and 5 minutes before they are supposed to close, she tells us they are closing the seating area in five minutes. There is no sign on the door that only the drive through is open after 9pm. The door says they are open from 5am until 10pm. If they are going to close inside an hour early, that should be indicated on the posted hours on the door. Also, if they are not closed, they should not be repeatedly interrupting customers because they are trying to clean while still technically open for business. The worker could have easily cleaned everywhere else, left us alone, and cleaned our table after we left. Instead she interrupted and inconvenienced us by making us move everything to another table. I wasn’t able to finish what I needed to work on because of the repeated interruptions. Had the hours indicated that they closed inside at 9pm, I would have known to prepare to be done by that time. I expected accurate business hours to be posted on a business’s door. I also expected to be left alone to enjoy my time in the business and get my work done rather than being repeatedly interrupted as if we were an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. I might just forego getting any Dunkin until the location I receive better service at is done being remodeled if this location is my only option. My experience tonight added more reasons for me to avoid this location.

I witnessed an extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable situation during my visit. A customer came in, and the manager loudly yelled across the room to another employee, saying something along the lines of, “Yeah, remember when his credit card payment declined — he owes us four dollars.” This was said publicly, within earshot of everyone, effectively shaming the customer over a past declined payment. There was absolutely no reason to handle it this way. If there was an issue, it should have been discussed privately, not broadcast across the store. Publicly embarrassing someone over four dollars is unacceptable. Because of how poorly this was handled, I will never return to this establishment and will make sure to visit another location instead.
