First off our server was fantastic. I’ll state that. Food was average but was able to make do with that. What did it for me was when I ordered my second beer and found a full on hacked up loogie in my beer. I am a bartender from New Orleans and would never think of doing this to customer. Felt like we were pretty simple. We ordered food and beer which seems simple. My boyfriend and I couldn’t think of what could’ve happened to why this would happen….bot sure if it was an act of homophobia but either way jeez.

(Ashley...) Specifically is a BEAST AND The other girls there are gorgeous pixies and need all the treats and tips that they deserve and more! One of the best Irish pubs, and they actually had a coconut stout at the time that I came! You can barely find a stout (no not Guinness 🤢🤢🤢🤢) on the East. If you go out west, in the mountains there, Stout are abundant and warm you up before a winter ski or hike. I wish the south east would move away from IPA Yes, I'm rambling However, (ASHLEY....) specifically is and was incredible

I visited Wexford Irish Pub in Savannah, Georgia a few days ago for lunch and had a mostly great experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with good vibes all around and a solid beer selection that really fits the Irish pub feel. The soup was excellent, and the fish and chips were very good — crispy, flavorful, and exactly what you’d expect from a quality pub. I also tried a burger, which was good and well-prepared. The only downside was the lamb sliders, which unfortunately came out raw in the middle, and that was disappointing. Aside from that issue, everything else was enjoyable, and the food quality overall was solid. With a great atmosphere, good beer, and mostly strong dishes, Wexford Irish Pub is still a place I’d recommend stopping by. Hopefully the kitchen pays closer attention to doneness next time.

An "Authentic" Irish Experience for People Who Have Never Been to Ireland. I only had two nights in Savannah, and I mistakenly spent one of them at Wexford. As someone who has spent time in Ireland and has a fair few friends in the UK, I have to ask: where did this "warm beer" myth come from? Serving Smithwick’s red ale at room temperature isn’t "authentic,” it’s just a failure of refrigeration. Unless I’m sitting in a windowless pub in the middle of a 19th-century power outage, the beer should be cold. My friends across the pond would have used this glass as a hand-warmer. The kitchen seems to be operating on a similarly confused set of standards. I was promised by our waitress that these were the "most popular fish and chips in Savannah." If that’s the case, Savannah has a shockingly low bar for "chips," as these were some of the most basic, uninspired American fries I’ve ever seen. The fish itself was actually quite good. However, my wife’s order of "fresh cod" arrived in a portion size clearly intended for a small child of perhaps five. The waitress was perfectly friendly and professional, but no amount of hospitality can fix a microscopic dinner and a luke-warm pint. If you’re looking for the "Irish Experience" as imagined by someone who has never actually been there, you’ve found your spot.

Booked a reservation for 19 people after three phone calls confirming our table for live music as advertised online and on social media. When we arrived, we were placed in a dark corner room with no live music. Or any music at all. Which was the opposite of what was promoted. When I politely raised this with the manager, evening of the Saturday 20th December. The response was dismissive and unhelpful, including comments like “You expect me to get a speaker out of my pocket?” being told to “read the advertisements outside.” And “we have had 260 reservations today what makes you special” There was no effort to resolve the issue or compromise, despite the clear mismatch between what was advertised and what was provided. We are a travelling Irish show who stopped based on the advertised event online.
