My order was approved, and I was charged over $40 for food for myself and my children. Unfortunately, the kiosk system glitched, and my order was never processed properly even though payment was taken. When I went to the counter for help, the manager, Arkeela, told me there was nothing she could do. Not only was she dismissive and unhelpful, but her tone and behavior came across as completely unprofessional and racially biased. She claimed she could not access kiosk orders or provide a refund, which is untrue. Instead, I was forced to reorder and pay for the food a second time just so my children under the age of 10 could eat. As a military veteran, I was shocked and disappointed by the lack of care, respect, and customer service. I even had to contact my bank to dispute the charge, which led to my card being canceled while I was still on the road. I have photo evidence of the kiosk glitch, the approved order, and the second receipt showing I had to pay twice. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope Wendy’s addresses both the technical issue with the kiosk and the behavior of the manager, Arkeela. No family should ever be treated this way, especially when they are already in a vulnerable situation
