  Celia (the amazing lady working) was so helpful and insightful about all the things this store offered. Even explained to me what a praline cookie was so well to the point a bought a pound of them! Lol Will definitely be coming back.

  I had such a great experience at River Street Sweets! Celia was incredibly nice, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming from the moment I walked in. She was very helpful, answered my questions with patience, and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. Her kindness and positive energy really stood out. Customer service like that makes all the difference — I’ll definitely be back!

  Rita is the reason I keep coming back to the Habersham Street River Street Sweets. She’s always gives great suggestions, and even wrap‑seal the pralines for my work trips so I won’t be tempted on the flight. Whenever I visit, I always ask for Rita as she makes every stop a great one.

  Today was the most uncomfortable experience of questionable customer service I've shared with my teenage son to date! I am a woman of color. Normally, I am dressed as a professional; the weather brought out a different look in which I had on a hoodie. We went straight over to the gummy candy upon entering the shop. The two employees behind the counter watched us as if we had the word "terrorist" on our coats. Once we headed to the counter, the gentleman asked in a loud tone is this all? I said no and moved over to the glass of pralines. The lady and gentlemen stood in place at the register until I asked if you were going to help me over here? The woman shouted, all you have to do is tell us what you want. I have never! ( My thoughts) When I replied, 2 pralines please. It took everything in me not to walk out...she got the pralines and bagged them. I gave the gentleman a $20 bill in which he immediately inspected. The lady told him if it's difficult to tell- do this ( while swiping across the bill with a black marker). She said: it's just an old bill they don't make them like that anymore. As my bag and change was handed to me I said thank you twice without a response from etheir one of the shop employees. We were not greeted upon entering the shop. After this interaction I was compelled to note their names in my memory...Tim and Rita made a nasty impression of the overall customer service at River Sweets on Habersham.
