  I put other because I didn’t even get the chance to eat, my sever never came back to out table , instead he severed every one besides us and I was the first to get there. When I told our server this he didn’t even apologize. definitely a 0 for me

  The food isn't bad, but what we ordered could be improved. The ropa vieja was just meat with tomato puree; it lacked flavor, and the paella was more like rice with seafood, completely dry, served in a metal pan—not cast iron or earthenware—and stuck to the bottom of the dish. I had to scrape it off. In short, they should sell it as something else, but not as paella. The service was very poor, unprofessional, typical of a cheap roadside inn, I'm sorry. It's not what I expected.

  Excellent food! Very delicious and I feel that the price was very competitive considering the amount of food we were served! I went for lunch yesterday and we had one lunch plate each and left full and happy. Service was quick and very friendly, the beans were specially flavorful and the pork was too. I had a fantastic sandwich. I would go back anytime!

  Coming to this restaurant wasn’t planned, but we were pleasantly surprised with the food, service, and vibe. We made a last minute reservation (due to our original restaurant didn’t work out). Got there 20 mins early and got seated right away. For the food, we ordered the whole fried tilapia, a fried grouper fillet, an iron beer (Cuban version of coke)— and everything came just about $40. That price in the downtown of Savannah is unbelievable. Huge portions too. Photo of Tilapia with husband’s hand for scale, the Grouper, and the aftermath :) More importantly, the foods were actually really tasty. Fishes were seasoned well. Sweet plantains were a nice touch of sweetness to the savory fish. And the garlic bread they gave in house… chef’s kiss! Plus, they got live music and friendly servers. We were there for 1.5 hours and witnessed 3 birthday celebrations by the servers and the band. Service can be a bit slow due to how packed it is, but just set your expectations especially for weekend nights.

  I don’t even live in Georgia and this is my fourth or fifth time eating at this restaurant. We discovered it on a road trip to Florida a few years ago, and have planned our overnight stops in Savannah, GA specifically so we can come back. We have ordered a variety of different dishes over the year, and have yet to be disappointed. They are mind-blowingly delicious.
